Educational Discounts
A discount is available for music students and teachers. Please request approval per email before making a purchase.
Please using an email address with the domain of your school, college or university. Use the same email adress for your user account. Let us know which edition of Synfire you want to buy. After checking your eligibility, we will provide you with a discount voucher (coupon) that you can redeem during checkout in the web store.
License Conditions
- License is bound to an individual and can't be resold.
- Can't be combined with other discounts (i.e. not available during promotions).
- Current discount is 30% (subject to change). Please inquire for volume discounts or site licenses.
Students
- Students enrolled full-time for at least one year in music courses at accredited schools, colleges or universities. Must be at least 18 years old. Parents may request an EDU license on behalf of their minor children.
- Faculty ID card with date and name or equivalent document. Request per email from domain of institution or official website. Please do not submit anything that contains private or confidential information.
Teachers
- Teaching music at an accredited school, college or university a minimum of 20 hours/week.
- Faculty ID card with date and name or equivalent document. Request per email from domain of institution or official website. Proof of accreditation by the authority relevant in your country. Please do not submit anything that contains private or confidential information.
- Independent professional music teachers must show that teaching music is their primary activity (e.g. website link)
